We will be requesting submissions in early November for the winter issue, on the theme of “Eight Stars of Gold”. Sharpen your pencils!

AWS has a new website – you are looking at it. A huge THANK YOU to The Atwood Foundation for making this possible!

We are now able to offer single issues for sale in digital format, as well as digital subscriptions, in addition to the print subscriptions we already had.

We are looking forward to adding lots of new content and news updates in the months to come to make our site more dynamic and informative.

Alaska Women Speak publishes a Spring, Summer, Winter and Fall Issue, each with a theme. It is time to choose 2018 themes and we want your ideas!  From now until September 30th, you may enter your ideas through this submission link. Enter as many times as you wish! We’ll curate the list and select four themes from the ideas submitted. Each idea entry will also be included in a drawing for one-year subscription to the journal. Four winners will be drawn.
